The Cedar Rod & Gub Club is one of about 10 Leelanau County organizations that proudly sponsor this great event targeting youth. Last year approximately 600 participants took advantage of the opportunity to catch blue-gills, bass and trout in ponds that were stocked for this event.

Members can earn up to a full day's work credit for helping the entire duration of the event. Please mark your calendar, and join in to help make this very popular event a success.

Volunteers are needed to work in the following areas:

*Tackle and bait station assistance (4) workers

*Special Event station, still under consideration, 4 to 6 workers
